چکیده
Lemon peel waste (LPW) were pyrolysed in a laboratory fixed-bed reactor at final temperature of 300 °C, 400 °C and 500 with an incremental heating rate 10 °C/min, under N2 atmosphere to produce biochar, bio-oil gas. The maximum yields bio-oil, biochar gas 16.66 wt%, 66.89 wt% 54.6 respectively, °C. produced has calorific value around 12 MJ/N m3 composition up 68.82 vol.% CO, 5.25 CH4, 1.48 CnHm. recovered is promising applicant for the manufacturing carbon materials solid fuel applications. chemical characterization using GC–MS FTIR spectroscopy shows its richness bioactive compounds such as squalene, d-limonene, ß-Sitosterol phenol. Biochar showed bactericidal activity against Bacillus cereus, Micrococcus luteus, Salmonella enterica, Listeria monocytogenes Staphylococcus aureus. Pyrolytic products LPW show large potential applications agriculture agri-food industry allow sustainable biomass-waste management economic benefits.

Pressurised pyrolysis of Miscanthus using a fixed bed reactor.
Miscanthus x giganteus was pyrolysed, in a fixed bed reactor in a constant flow of dinitrogen gas, at a rate of 13°C/min from ambient to 550°C, then held for 25 min at this temperature. The pressures employed ranged from atmospheric to 26 bar. The major compounds identified in the bio-oil were water, phenol, and phenol derivatives. The water contents impact on the usefulness of the bio-oil as a...

Introduction: The modeling aims to simulate or optimize a process in physical, chemical or biological environments and the derived model will provide a considerable assistance to generate data and predict unknown condition, in case of sufficient suitability. Unsuitable disposal and elimination of waste tires have polluted the environment and human life areas, it also have caused removal of a hu...
متن کاملCharacteristics of products from fast pyrolysis of fractions of waste square timber and ordinary plywood using a fluidized bed reactor.
Fractions of waste square timber and waste ordinary plywood were pyrolyzed in a pyrolysis plant equipped with a fluidized bed reactor and a dual char separation system. The maximum bio-oil yield of about 65 wt.% was obtained at reaction temperatures of 450-500 °C for both feed materials. For quantitative analysis of bio-oil, the relative response factor (RRF) of each component was calculated us...
متن کاملPyrolysis of Softwood Carbohydrates in a Fluidized Bed Reactor
In the present work pyrolysis of pure pine wood and softwood carbohydrates, namely cellulose and galactoglucomannan (the major hemicellulose in coniferous wood), was conducted in a batch mode operated fluidized bed reactor. Temperature ramping (5 degrees C/min) was applied to the heating until a reactor temperature of 460 degrees C was reached. Thereafter the temperature was kept until the rele...
متن کاملProduction of Bio-oil by Oxidative Pyrolysis of Sewage Sludge in Rotating Fixed Bed Reactor
Pyrolysis is an attractive thermal conversion technology used to produce bio-oil and some chemicals. In this study, we investigated the pyrolysis of sewage sludge under N2 and CO2 atmosphere at various temperatures (350-750°C) in a rotating fixed bed reactor. For under N2 atmosphere, thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) shows two major reaction peaks centered at 300 and 500°C. However, if CO2 was...
